The program contemplated the implementation of a health unit in a single house in an area of 300 m2. The careful choice of materials and solutions was carried out in record time with all phases of the project dealt from preliminary study to final design and specifications in less than a month.
The location of the clinic and beauty spa unit is in the busy N125, on the ground floor of a typical house of Algarve, offers a turn back to the stressful reality outside. Inside it presents another world where customers can meet harmony for all the five senses.
The use of natural materials like the noble granite “absolute black”, other natural stones and exotic woods, transmit the tactile comfort level that was desired.
The light was projected, taking into account a multitude of environments that were desired, using different systems, fully controllable by the medical team.
The design was based on the soft image of the circle. So imagine the shower bases warmly involving users in a capsule. The curve is reflected in the partitioning of spaces, with smooth transitions between zones. Again the circle appears randomly on the ceiling, appearing through a set of fulls and empties.
Inside the “skin” of the architectural proposal, lurks a machine in perfect harmony with the space, producing the desired comfort through pipelines carrying air, due to all spaces being provided with air-conditioning, as well as background music, and links to all type of equipment.
